1. ETRM User Support

Respond promptly to inquiries and support requests from business users across multiple regions.
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day ETRM issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Escalate unresolved issues to the London support team during the morning handover.

2. ETRM Development & Scripting

Develop and maintain scripts or small-scale applications (e.g., Python, SQL) to customize or extend ETRM functionalities, particularly within Aspect.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Front Office, Back Office) to identify enhancement opportunities.
Ensure coding best practices and maintain updated documentation for all development work.

3. System Monitoring & Optimization

Proactively monitor ETRM performance to identify potential issues before they impact users.
Work with senior developers and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.

4. Issue Tracking & Documentation

Document all support activities, issue resolutions, and development changes in a clear and organized manner.

5. Continuous Improvement

Contribute to a knowledge base of known issues, tips, and best practices to expedite future problem resolutions.
Stay updated on new features, releases, and best practices related to the ETRM platform.
Participate in regular reviews to streamline support processes, improve development efficiency, and enhance system stability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in an ETRM support or development role, ideally within commodities trading or financial services.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) to create and maintain system customizations.
Familiarity with ETRM systems, especially Aspect (Ion), is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. L2 Team Leadership

Lead and mentor L2 support resources from the London office, ensuring efficient ticket handling and timely issue resolution.
Establish and maintain best practices, processes, and standards for support and development tasks.

2. ETRM Development

Oversee and participate in scripting, Change Management, and small-scale development projects for new-model ETRMs (e.g., Aspect).
Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and implement customizations or enhancements to support evolving business requirements.

3. Escalation Management

Act as the primary point of contact for complex issues that require escalation to Ion (owners of Aspect) or other third-party vendors.
Ensure a clear escalation path is followed, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

4. COO Items & Monitoring Triage

Triage critical COO items escalated by our monitoring teams, prioritizing and delegating tasks within L2 personnel.
Coordinate with senior management and cross-functional teams to provide timely updates and action plans.

5. Technical Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ETRM systems, interfaces, and scripts.

6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Work closely with Front Office, Back Office, IT Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure aligned solutions.
Coordinate with global teams (including India, Singapore, and North America) to facilitate seamless support handovers.

7. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, known issues, and resolutions.
Conduct training sessions for team members to enhance collective knowledge and skillsets.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant experience (5+ years) in ETRM support, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of ETRM systems, especially Aspect (Ion).
Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, SQL, or other relevant languages).
